There are more than 160 climbing points at Batu Caves and you’ll need a guide with you to take you at each and every point that’s available to the public. The routes are dispersed in different parts of the caves. But although the routes can be easily accessed because most of them have crags that start from the ground level, the climbs are said to be difficult even for experienced climbers. Alternately, you can climb the limestone hill of the Batu Caves temple. Climbing the wall is free of charge so make sure you also have climbing equipment with you because nobody’s going to provide it for you at the Caves. There are numerous companies renting climbing equipment so you don’t really have to invest a lot of money if you’re just going to give the sport a try.

So, whether you think indoor climbing will do or you’re more geared up towards more difficult climbs and outdoor climbing points like what the Batu Caves offer, you will surely enjoy rock climbing in Kuala Lumpur.
